The first time I heard about a city called Bratislava was through “Eurotrip” the movie. If you didn’t watch it and you want to understand the following lines I recommend this 2 minutes video. It’s very funny and it tells you what I had in mind when I decided to go to Bratislava last weekend.

I got some photos for you so you can compare the real Bratislava to the American movie. It’s a charming city, go visit it when you’re nearby (Vienna, Budapest or even Prague).

There’s only one thing they were right about in the movie. Prices in Bratislava are really low, almost half of what you may pay in western cities. So we decided to tip the waiter 1 cent to see his reaction; he wasn’t as happy as the guy in the movie 🙂
